Michael Drey has sent an offer of PhD positions, as part of the Innovative Training Network – ITN (Horizon 2020 Framework). This project provides an international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral platform to train young scientists at the interface of clinical medicine, allied health and biomechanics, to study unresolved questions about gait and balance during aging and age-related chronic neurological and geriatric conditions. Each PhD student is financed for 3 years. The focus is on « neurogenic sarcopenia”, investigating sarcopenia in hip fracture patients histologically, electrophysiologically and relating to a biomarker.
