Le laboratoire AME2P de l’université Clermont Auvergne recherche un-e candidat-e pour le concours des allocations doctorales de l’école doctorale 65 Sciences de la Vie, Santé, Agronomie, Environnement. Le sujet de thèse porte sur la plasticité neuromusculaire en réponse à l’obésité (voir descriptif ci-dessous) et sera co-encadré par Vincent Martin (Université Clermont Auvergne, AME2P) et Pr. Serge Colson (Université Côté d’Azur, LAMHESS).
Des connaissances et compétences techniques en physiologie de l’exercice, et idéalement en évaluation de la fonction neuromusculaire chez l’Homme, ainsi qu’une bonne maîtrise de l’anglais seront appréciées. Le-la candidat-e retenu par le laboratoire pourra se présenter au concours de l’école doctorale, comprenant une présentation orale + entretien avec le jury. S’il-elle est classé-e dans les 12 premiers, l’allocation doctorale sera attribuée. Le processus comporte donc 4 étapes :
– Sélection d’un candidat par le laboratoire sur le sujet de thèse proposé
– Envoi du dossier du candidat à l’école doctorale
– Sélection des meilleurs dossiers par l’école doctorale
– Présentation orale, entretien et classement des candidats par l’école doctorale. Attribution des allocations doctorales aux 12 meilleurs candidats, tous sujets confondus.
Les conditions pour postuler sont les suivantes :
– envoyer une lettre de motivation + CV + 2 lettres de recommandation à vincent.martin@uca.fr et serge.colson@unice.fr avant le 12 juin 2019
– être capable de fournir un relevé de notes complet (résultats définitifs du master) + classement du master avant le 20 juin 2019
– obtenir son master avec au moins la mention AB et figurer dans la première moitié du classement du master.

The AME2P Laboratory (Clermont Auvergne University) is recruiting a candidate to apply to the PhD scholarship contest at the doctoral school. The PhD topic is about neuromuscular plasticity in response to obesity (see full details below). Vincent Martin (Clermont Auvergne University, AME2P) and Pr. Serge Colson (Côte d’Azur University, LAMHESS) will supervise this project. Knowledge and technical abilities in exercise physiology, and specifically human neuromuscular function evaluation, and proficiency in English (written & spoken) will be appreciated. Proficiency in French is not mandatory – a learning program can be offered by the university.
The candidate selected by the lab will enter the contest at the doctoral school. He-she will have to give an oral presentation and answer the questions of the board of experts. If he-she is ranked among the top 12 candidates, he will be awarded a 3-year PhD scholarship.
The selection process has 4 steps:
– Selection of the best candidate by the lab on the research topic
– Sending of the candidate references to the doctoral school
– Selection of the best candidates by the doctoral school
– Oral presentation, interview and ranking of the candidates by the doctoral school. The top 12 candidates will be awarded a scholarship.
The following conditions are mandatory to apply :
– Send a letter + curriculum + 2 recommendation letters to vincent.martin@uca.fr and serge.colson@unice.fr before June 12th 2019
– Being able to provide a complete mark report (final master’s degree results) + ranking in the master’s degree before June 20th 2019
– Graduating at the master’s degree with honors and being ranked in the first half of the degree.
